The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible to develop and implement consumer marketing strategies and plans for China's TV branded content, currently the key being Disney Dragon Club (DDC), to build it as one of the best kids TV destination in China. He/she will also support nurturing priority franchises, and providing support to cross-BU teams, to ultimately help accelerate business growth in China. This requires working closely with the China TV branded content team and other internal TV teams across Greater China, as well as all other Business Units and corporate functions. Plus, it also requires managing external relationships including vendors and partners, while keeping abreast of the market landscape and development.
Responsibilities · Develop and implement the integrated consumer marketing and communication plans to build the brand and awareness of DDC as one of the best kids TV program in China
· Develop and implement the integrated consumer marketing and communication plans to support DDC's ad sales/sponsorship and key accounts/partnership
· Work closely with cross BU's to develop and implement synergy and franchises-support marketing programs
· Establish and sustain good working relationship with related press and media outlets
· Manage agencies to deliver quality work on time
· Manage consumer marketing budget
· Prepare presentations to the management team, other BU's, or other functional teams as required
· All other relevant marketing and communication works
Basic Qualifications · Minimum 5 years working experience, in marketing or agency account servicing related field
· TV or media experience is a must
· Extensive experience in dealing with marketing/ad agencies
· Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement marketing programs, as well as strong communication skills with cross functional teams and different stakeholders
· Strong planning and execution skills to drive results.
· Capability of multitasking and managing several projects concurrently with minimum supervision
· Communication skills: persuasive and convincing both in oral and written
· Problem solving skills: able to resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively
· Analytical skills: able to provide sound recommendations based on good understanding of different BUs' needs, China market landscape, trends and consumer insights
· Professionalism and integrity
· A good team player
· Perform well under pressure
· Fluent spoken and written English
· Excellent written Chinese
· Well-developed computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree, prefer in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field
