Key Responsibilities
- To keep contact with the Pall Central R&D team to get being aligned and updated for filter media and filter element related projects, and to utilize the proper media/ technology for China NPD projects.

- To understand the market trend and progress of the filtration related technology, to make proposal for China R&D technology and new products development roadmap by working with the marketing and sales team and attending the related forum and exhibition. And to provide information on strategic planning and technology evaluation as needed.

- To work with the marketing and sales team to understand the User Requirement Specifications (URS) of the new media/ filter element to be developed, to define value proposition, and to convert the URS to development specifications.

- To take the lead to develop new filter media and filter elements.

- To identify and utilize the outside resources and technologies to support the filter media and element development based on the specific requirements with the legal support from IP matters point of view.

- To develop creative filter element design concept for NPD projects, to work with the project team to develop element prototype for verification, and to support the verification plan and execution.

- To attend the NPD project design review, especially to check whether the filter elements related URS has been fulfilled by the new product.

- To work with the global R&D team for some specific NPD projects as needed.

- To be actively involved in DBS, and to use DBS tools to drive R&D excellence. To take the project management role during the specific stages for some NPD projects.

- To do technology training for other engineers when need.

 Position Qualification Requirement：

- PhD and above in filtration, separation or filter media related area

- As the first author, published at least 2 papers in domestic core journals or international important journals for filtration related topics

- Deep understanding of research and development work, and good business sense to build product value proposition

- Excellent English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing

- Good communication and presentation skills

- Good team player and win-win mindset
