MRT Field Engineer, China
A US 500 Fortune Company in automotive industry
Location: Guangzhou
Purpose of the position:
? Track performance of Goodyear and Competitor MRT products in the market, through Focus Testing and Fleet development (Benchmark fleets). Support product sales and development
? Customer technical support by establishing optimum product application of MRT and other commercial products and providing expertise to fleets, stores and dealers on performance inquiries and / or application issues.
? Field investigation and other technical support to sales and customers.
? Original Equipment manufacturer support by providing a technical link and monitoring field performance of OE products.
Responsibilities:
? Set up, monitor, analyse and report results of focus test programs and benchmark fleets. Issue interim and final test reports on a timely basis.
? Conduct regular proactive field performance surveys. Analyze and report feedback and recommendations in a professional and timely manner.
? Provide technical expertise and training to fleets, retailers and distributors on product inquiries and/or application issues.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor degree in engineering, chemical or automobile
? Minimum 3-year working experience in truck & bus tire sector
? Experience with truck & bus fleets, tire retailers and tire distributors preferred
? Computer skills in Microsoft Software
? Excellent communication skills in Chinese, good in English
? Down-to-earth working style
