Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

The JV Rapid Prototyping Specialist will be responsible for implementing operational concepts in a simulated aircraft flight deck environment. The majority of this prototyping will be related to flight deck display operational concept and formats. In this role you will: • Serve as a Key member on the research and development team in the process of developing new flight deck operational concepts • Primarily responsible for converting operational concepts into functioning demonstrations on the Human Centered Design Rapid Prototype Simulator • Develop simulations in a graphical rendering and simulation suite and integrate it with existing aircraft simulation modules. • Work closely with Systems and Human Centered Design Engineers to refine the operational concepts and simulation based on demonstration feedback and analysis.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college• Experience in graphical rendering, prototyping or Computer Aided Design

• Self-motivated, driven, focused and results oriented• Experience with GLStudio and ARINC 661 development tools.• Demonstrated process orientation in approach to work• Willing to work in a high paced rapid prototyping environment
