Essential Responsibilities

• Participate as a key member of region leadership teams, driving compliance solutions and EHS simplification across the business through business cycles. • Drive continuous improvement and operationalization of EHS programs, procedures, and tools to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and GE Best Practices. • Vigorously lead /drive EHS operationalization and accountability to all employees. • Ensure business growth by leading risk mitigation and EHS productivity enhancements, leveraging across operations in the region and business -wide. • Integrate EHS into all components strategies, activities and decision making from initial customer inquiry through execution. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local team, community and regulators. • Supervise region EHS teams including EHS professionals in manufacturing facilities and service operations. • Develop EHS talent and succession planning for each role within the region team to build strong, capable EHS team. • Share strategies and practices across other regions • Represent MCS/ MC business in GE forums, customers meetings and regulatory interfaces. • Support the business in due diligence and new business acquisitions identifying potential risk. • Commit to personal development from leadership and technical perspective to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of EHS programs across the regions and GE (learn, share, and mentor).

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental or Occupational Safety and health field or equivalent EHS leadership experience. • Minimum 10 years of experience in an Environment, Health and Safety discipline.
