Mission statement:

- Lead and manage the execution of one or more R&D projects to meet project targets

- Coordinate work of local and cross-functional project team

Main accountabilities:

Project execution and control

- Manages the allocated project teams and defines with key stakeholders the scope of work, cost / budget, resources required, time schedule and detailed work allocation.

- Motivates and leads internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.

- Monitors and controls project cost and financials and reports deviations.

- Ensures project results are transferred to relevant line organization or department responsible

- Uses own technical domain knowledge to provide technical support to colleagues or other functional teams

- Serves as key contact for project stakeholders and effectively communicates appropriate information to in timely manner to achieve desired understanding and support

Projects, processes and tools

- Ensures project follows sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures

- Ensures projects follow external standards etc. that influence activities and targets

Manage uncertainties and risks

- Identifies, contains and reduces risk and makes sure that they are properly prioritized, managed and communicated

Knowledge, skills & expertise:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer engineering or communication engineering or electronic information engineering

- 3 years+ work experience of project management, 1 year+ work experience of software or electronical development.

- Familiar with IPD product development or Agile Scrum development.

- Project management experience proved by certificate of worldwide company or PMI is preferred.

- Proactive, team-oriented, highly responsible and able to work under pressure and excellent at communication and coordination

- Chinese as mother tongue, very good English (fluently)
