Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Responsible for the requirements definition, design, development, test, integration, and support of embedded software (e.g. operating system software, device drivers, software frameworks, algorithmic libraries etc) and software development tools (compilers, simulators, IDEs, etc.). 

? Responsible for following established software development methodology and practices defined for their business. 

? Responsible for support of pre-silicon design and requirements as well as software validation activities. This includes impacting hardware architecture requirements from a software usage, compatibility, performance, and reuse potential perspectives. 

? Responsible for creation and maintenance of customer collateral for software products and deliverables.  Working closely with TI teams (silicon, hardware, software teams) and customers as part of the normal software life-cycle. 

? Responsibilities may also include quality assurance and configuration/release management. Must keep management informed regarding technical issues and problems and to the extent possible proposing solutions to correct the problems.

Minimum Requirements:
? Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
? C and C++ programming skills
? Familiarity with assembly language programming
? Knowledge of software engineering processes and the full software development lifecycle
