SW Test Engineer

THE ROLE:

RTG (Radeon Technologies Group) China Customer Engineering team is essential to the success of AMD as a growing company. iCafe Engineering is one of the teams under this group. We provide world class HW & SW delivery to the entire channel ecosystem through program and issue management support: cooperation with partners to drive industry technology evolution; end to end ownership of iCafe HW & SW development & delivery; channel event and field issue support. SW Test Engineer is the most important role to ensure the SW delivery quality to our valuable users. You will be working with the very best engineering teams in our technology, while working on some of the most exciting products the industry has to offer.

THE PERSON:

A self-motivated team player. Able to work under high pressure and time limitation. Good communication skill.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In charge of China Top online game titles test coverage with targeted AMD products (CPU&M/B, GPU) across Disk and Diskless Windows OS environment to ensure SW stack quality meets end user needs.

• Test utility and infrastructure setup
• Test plan & test case development and execution

Working with regional teams extensively including FAE, Engineering and R&D teams on issue management and verification

Drive for continuous improvement

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years SW test experience
• Being able to comprehend & write document and report in English; fluent Chinese communication
• Gaming lover
• Familiar with Windows OS operation; knowledge about PC DIY and network setup

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Junior college degree or above
