Department:
A retail network that delivers a distinctive ownership experience that differentiates Jaguar and Land Rover from other luxury car retailers with a consistent profitable return for its shareholders.
The Role & Key Responsibilities:
· Manage new dealer readiness process in assigned district
o New dealer LoI signing process
o Manage new dealer readiness process
o Ensure new dealers successfully passing pre-opening audit on time according to JLR requirements
o Coordinate with related internal departments & external dealers, vendors and other parties to ensure overall satisfaction regarding specific dealers' readiness during the process
o Ensure dealer achieve JLRC dealer investment & facility requirements
o Ensure qualified dealer management team are selected and fulfil operational team's requirement (sales team, service team) by interview and training
o Make action plan & follow up with dealers monthly
o Make arrangement of pre-opening audit with regional manager & other internal departments
· Manage existing dealer network in assigned district
o Identify & manage existing dealers upgrade & relocation project
o Implement JLRC commercial policy. Manage dealer non-compliance activities
o Provide daily coaching & support to dealers, ensure dealer achieve the requirement of JLRC dealer standards strictly
o Use business management KPIs to monitor dealer performance, identify problematic dealers, make agreement with dealers and other internal departments (sales, marketing, service, finance, etc...); follow up the action plan together with related parties through daily communication & dealer visits
o Manage district/regional dealer database, and update dealer profile once there is any change
o Conduct dealer visits periodically (at least quarterly); submit & proper document visit report and follow up actions with dealers.
o Track competitor dealer network & market development in assigned district
o Support network planning, provide field feedback in assigned district of the region
o Yearly dealer targeting & agreement process
o Coordinate training requirement & arrangement of dealers
· Support other tasks assigned by regional manager
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
o Good understanding of business management.
o Possesses good analytical skills, consumer and retail focused.
o Strong strategic planning, implementation and project management skill set.
o Experienced in making strong presentations to critical, evaluative audiences like dealers..
o Business acumen to allow risk assessment and make reliable judgement calls.
o Proven team values and the ability to cooperate and get along in a team context.
o Strong financial control skills to manage and deliver on specific spending plans.
o Automotive industry experience
o Experience with premium brands or products
o Bachelor's degree a must
o Self motivated, independent, able to take initiatives and drive change
o Ability to multitask and set priorities, with attention to details and accuracy
o Has customer-focused mindset, responsible, integrity, innovative and drive for result
o Good in Microsoft office software's' practices
o Good communication and coordination skills.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills for both English and Mandarin.
