Job description: Treasury Manager - Cluster Lead for PG Global Treasury Operations

Cluster leads manage the delivery of treasury operations in their respective clusters along the following key responsibility areas:

1. Financial (bank / bank accounts) infrastructure

2. Cash management & liquidity forecasting

3. Risk management (business support, hedging)

4. Governance, controls and reporting

5. Department administration & business development (budget, planning, people)

The cluster lead functionally reports (solid line) to regional / global treasury operations area and locally (dotted line) to the nearest Power Grids finance lead / CFO organization which acts as the local hosting area. In some lead countries (clusters) this means direct reporting to the cluster/regional CFO, in other it may be reporting to the designated cluster finance manager (e.g. Head of GBS Finance front office or other).

Through the delivery of core treasury operations, the cluster lead builds and maintains strong relations with key departments along the financial and operational value chain to ensure end-to-end and effective finance and treasury solutions and risk management. This includes regular and ad-hoc interactions with:

• Other regional & global Treasury areas
  (Corporate Finance, Insurance, Export & Trade Finance)

• Core finance departments
  (Accounts Payable / Receivable, Tax, Corporate Planning & Controlling, Internal Control)

• Business lines and business support departments
  (Marketing & Sales, Procurement & Logistics, Business Controlling)

• Human Resources (incl. Payroll)

• Information Systems

• Functional and other departments outside local / cluster geography
  (Group HQ, Global Business Services hubs)

Requirements:

• Corporate Treasury operations experience ,10+ years for treasury manager (cluster lead)

• Finance degree (college / university, BSc or Master)

• Other degree (engineering, other bachelor or master) can be considered if relevant on-the-job treasury experience in cash and risk management

• Excellent analytical skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Fluent / working proficiency in English

• Knowledge of foreign languages will be considered an advantage (in particular: Spanish; may be useful: Portuguese and French)

• Team lead / people management skills (for cluster lead)

• Ability to work in global teams – understanding and use of cultural and other diversity, experience in interaction with functional and cross-functional stakeholders locally and internationally

• Efficient use of collaboration tools (Skype, Office 365 SharePoint and other collaboration tools)

• Lean / agile mindset – focus on eliminating waste, over-complexity and employing efficient and target/output-oriented delivery

• Familiarity of local/regional banking / finance solutions & infrastructure (relevant to core role)

• Familiarity or previous experience in wider finance and controlling areas (cost controlling, business controlling, accounting & reporting, other)
