Primary Function:
Manage the company’s Intellectual Properties

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
?    Manage patent, trademark and other intellectual property related issues for the company
?    Provide counsel, guidance, and support, primarily in the area of patent law and intellectual property law
?    Support R&D projects by drafting and prosecuting patent applications
?    Review Zai Intellectual Property protection in China, identify weak points and provide suggestions for improvements; Provide coordination support for patent applications in China between external patent attorney and internal experts
?    Provide local support to re-examination and invalidation proceedings, and patent infringement matters
?    Take in charge the trademark application and prosecution in China and the later on trademark maintenance
?    Lead and manage trademark invalidation proceedings in China;
?    Manage external patent, trademark agent and control the cost
?    Support business team from IP perspective; Support marketing for proper identification of our trademarks and patents in marketing material for China
?    Provide regular IP training the company to improve Intellectual Property awareness of all Zai staff
?    Support the company in China in maintaining Hi-tech enterprise qualification and government funding applications
?    Keep close following on national and local legislation development of China in Intellectual Property matters
职位要求：
Qualifications:
?    Bachelor degree or above.
?    5+ years' post qualification working experience in specialized IP law firms or pharmaceutical company
?    A candidate with biological molecules experiences is preferred
?    Passed PRC national patent examination; Qualification of patent agent and legal background would be asset
?    Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and English
?    Self-motivated and able to work independently under high pressure and with minimum supervision
?    Good interpersonal and communication skills, high teamwork spirit
