 Main Responsibilities:

  

• Responsible for the realisation of Belimo supplier development strategy,  covering evaluating the questionnaires on quality assurance process and site audit.

• Performing periodic supplier audits, identifying non-conformities and areas of potential risks in supplier processes and quality system.

• Supporting and developing suppliers in establishing quality improvement programs and verifying implementation at suppliers.

• Handling and following up quality issue regarding purchased goods which impacting Shanghai plant

• Actively drive the supplier to find out root cause of the quality deviation to avoid re-occurance and follow up the effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Devote to supplier quality performance tracking, analyses, monitoring, measuring and aggressively drive supplier for improvement as necessary.

• Close work with incoming inspection to optimize IQC procedure and handle non-conformity material from supplier.

• Support to innovation for release of initial samples covering First Article Inspection, follow up and review all submission (PPAP,RoHS compliance, material test report...) from supplier in China.

• Close collaborating with global SQE for supplier quality issue resolution as needed

• Support SAP QM modual implemantation smoothly in China

• Other tasks assigned by line manager      

  

Requirements:

  

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certificates in technology engineering, technical education or related field

• Knowledge of metrology, project management, complaint handling, Product & Process Auditing, preferably based on VDA 6.3

• Knowledge of Quality tools/Methodology & practices such as APQP, PPAP, D&PFMEA, 8D, 5Why...

• Management System knowledge (At least ISO9001, ISO14001).

• Ability to understand drawings and technical specifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in SQE, Supplier Quality management or experience in similar position with production know-how and quality assurance

• Manufacturing plant and Production process experience, preferably casting and / or machining

• HVAC products manufacturing and application experience are of advantage

• Willing to take over responsibility and travel

• Problem solving and analysis skills with a logical and methodical approach (8D, 5Why, Cause/Effect Diagram)

• Excellence communication skill with mandarin and English

• Effective team work and negotiation skills

• Results oriented, good accountability, keep commitments
