职位描述
Job Summary / Job Purpose:
To grow the commercial banking business by both actively acquiring new multinational relationships with good credit to enrich the portfolio and deepening relationship with existing MNC clients wallet. As first point of contact to service the relevant client base, to identify and to initiate corporate and investment banking opportunities, to structure and to execute solutions in line with the local business plan and global account strategies. Familiar with investment banking products including but not limited to Project Finance, Acquisition finance.
Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks:
1. To deepen the relationship with a portfolio of existing MNC clients with an aim to increasing commercial banking penetration with strong focus on green structured finance, market risks, working capital loans, cash management, supply chain and trade finance solutions.
2. Regularly to communicate with Global relationship managers to update on local developments/opportunities and keep abreast of any change in global account strategy
3. To originate new commercia and investment banking relationships with multinational companies in China with strong focus on SG global clients.
4. To identify cross-selling opportunities on all prospects and existing clients on CIB products and to assist the respective CIB product sales to win the mandate from relationship perspective.
5. To Work closely with business line to identify, sell, win mandate and execute deals.
6. To supervise, as a team leader, the sales activities of the IFD, PCM and Trade Finance Sales to ensure a strict sales discipline is implemented with well documented call plan and call reports
7. To guide the CA closely to ensure credit proposals are structured and priced properly to protect the bank’s interest with acceptable return and in line with the global account strategy set out by the Global Relationship Managers
8. To work and supervise CAs to complete credit proposals and reviews within reasonable turnaround time. Proper follow up with Risk is also needed in respect of addressing all further enquiries and additional input as needed.
9. To plan visits to facility clients at acceptable frequencies to update business development of the clients as required by the management and the Risk. Close monitoring existing client portfolio to flag and to identify and to react to early warning signals on deterioration of counterparty risk and operational risks.
10. To work with Compliance and Operations to ensure all KYC is done properly for both new and existing clients adopted at the branch level and escalate timely for management approval for all exceptions
11. Promptly to respond to any enquiries/referral from overseas SG locations on banking service in China.
12. Other ad hoc tasks / relevant responsibilities as assigned by the management
任职要求:
Candidate Profile:
1. Bachelor degree (finance or business discipline and Master Degree can be a plus)
2. At least 5 years experience in investment or commercial banking with no less than 3 years experience as a relationship manager for Multinationals, preferably with a major international bank
3. Solid accounting, financial and credit analysis skills
4. Sound knowledge on different bank products, particularly investment banking and commercial banking products
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build up rapport quickly with clients
6. Good presentation and negotiation skills
7. Team playing
8. English/Mandarin - Fluent
9. Dual culture preferred. German speaking is a strong plus.
10. Well versed in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must)
11. CFA or ACCA qualification is a plus
12. Frequent business travels are required
