Job Description:

·         Assist in defining business requirements and developing system specifications to solve business problems

·         Provide consultation and guidance to client and development management and staff in all phases of solution development and implementation

·         Conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues.

·         Works as an intermediary between business units to support business operations, Serves as  subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures

·         Analyze and evaluates business needs and provides technical direction and recommendations to create or develop new functionality

·         Analyze business needs and modify an existing functionality. 

·         Work on projects with a narrow to moderately wide (office, statewide, regional) scope involving multiple systems

·         Works with business unit to address opportunities for improvements in processes and mitigate issues as they arise between business units through research and analysis.

·         Resolution is typically well-defined

·         Facilitates transfer of information and problem resolution between business units

·         Provides supporting information and documentation as necessary

·         Analyzes business flow and reports to make recommendations to management for improvements in information flow and systems set-up

·         Assists with the development of formal recommendations for presentation to management

·         Serves as liaison between business unit and IT Systems regarding project specifications

 

Role & Responsibilities:

·         Assist in defining, analyzing, and evaluating system requirements to meet business and user needs. 

·         Analyze and document target operating model

·         Define business processes to help deliver the target operating model

·         Develop and document business and technical requirements Prepare powerpoint and communicate progress with stakeholders

·         The Business Analyst will prioritize features for the delivery of the digital platform

·         The Business Analyst will act to define the vision of what the final solution will eventually be.

·         The Business Analyst will act as the deputy to decide whether or not to release the digital solution, based on fit to business needs

·         Has a strong understanding of insurance industry and is closer to understanding the customers

·         Fluent English speaking ability

 

Minimum Qualification (Must Have):

·         5-12 years’ experiences as a BA role.

·         Familiarly with Insurance domain knowledge.
