General Purpose of the Position


Design, develop, validate and release new and/or existing components or assemblies.
Ensure that Customer technical/application requirements are understood and that Delphi’s product designs and requirements are agreed upon with the customer.
Responsibilities
· Develop product design concepts/solutions that meet customer/Delphi/Industry requirements/standards.
· Provide product line technical assistance to customer.
· Lead DFMEA activity from project initiation through to the life of the product.
· Provide support to product line and calibration team within Delphi.
· Understand and follow Delphi’s Divisional Engineering Procedures, as well as BTC site procedures.


Position Preference (minimum)
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
· Master Degree preferred.
Experience/Special Skills:
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Excellent language skills in oral and written English and Mandarin
· Self-motivated, hard working, good team player.
· 3 years experience in Application and/or Product Design Development, 5 years or more preferred.
