Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

The Director, Region Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the integrated marketing plan for a region to drive growth. This includes developing deep qualitative & quantitative insights about the needs, wants and requirements of prospects and customers, identifying keys to our success (product, service and solutions marketing mix), insuring and measuring program effectiveness and executing a comprehensive lead generation plan facilitating sales growth with new prospects, existing customers and through partners. This is a senior level role that requires collaboration with functional areas Responsibilities: of the organization – across Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations and Services. This position will provide leadership for all field marketing personnel and will be a member of the Global Marketing Leadership Team and the (China) leadership team. •Perform business analysis on region performance (visibility, win rate, share, orders, revenue, CM, funnel growth, etc.) •Assess product, services and solutions portfolio competitiveness within region. •Manage execution of regional marketing plan, including a comprehensive lead generation program. •Ensure regional sales force has the training materials and tools required for successful execution of growth objectives. •Develop field marketing personnel in best practices, toolsets, training opportunities, coaching and mentoring programs. •Attract, develop, coach, motivate and retain key marketing talent. •Develop and manage processes and programs to increase customer awareness, preference and purchase intent. •Create and drive regional segmentation strategy. •Manage Partner Marketing for the region. •Own the regional trade shows, show sites and sponsorships •Provide key inputs into annual planning process, including regional market sizing, forecasting and investment requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelors Degree• Minimum of 10 years’ experience marketing, sales, clinical product applications, or implementation management • Minimum of 5 years’ experience management/leadership experience• Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to easily convey concepts to customers, partners & employees• Willingness to travel 50% of time• Unrestricted work authorization in the US.• Willingness to submit to and pass a drug test and educational, employment and criminal background check• To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.
