Position Summary:

This role is a senior level position chartered to determine the market potential for Temperature Control and Fluid Handling solutions in China. Responsibilities would encompass market analysis, development of China based marketing programs and STRAP plans and a focus on OEM and VAR channels. A critical function of the Business Development Manager will be to work with Regional (in country), Business Unit and Channel Partner management to determine the regional market and customer needs and to coordinate efforts to drive knowledge and actualization of business growth through the creation of a data-driven plan for commercial product / accessories / services for water baths, chillers, heat exchangers, peristaltic pumps, tubing and related products in China. Ability to uncover, monitor, analyze and report in detail (supported by data) on business opportunities, changing market / segment dynamics, and competitive threats / activities on a routine basis is essential.

Ability to developing strong working relationships with other channels to market to create targeted programs to drive sales growth.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
? 4-year College degree; preferably in a technical discipline or business
? 5-10 years experience in industry, academia, or related field with progressively increasing responsibilities
? Experience in direct sales and marketing (5 years minimum)
? Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis
? Demonstrated success in forming interdepartmental and/or cross-divisional relationships
? Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills
? Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment
? Global travel estimated at 60% of time, mostly throughout China with occasional travel to Southeast Asia and USA
? Fluency in English and business financials
