Role and Responsibility:
? Be responsible for directing all operational phases of a product's lifecycle from manufacturing introduction to completion.
? Develop, implement and analyze manufacturing engineering plans and strategies for specific products and processes.
? Function as a central resource with manufacturing, quality, packaging, plastics and reliability.
? Ensure design for excellence disciplines have been applied to the delivery of high quality, cost-effective products.
? Ensure that products shipped meet specifications and quality goals.
? Consult with plant and manufacturing teams to determine specifications and requirements needed for tools to be effective.
? Establish procedures to ensure compliance with the organization protocols and standards, and regulatory requirements.
? Execute long term plans for cost/profit control.
Specific Knowledge, Application, Technical and/or Management Skills required:
-Typically requires 5 - 8 years experience and a BS degree or equivalent experience.
-Have demonstrated capabilities to lead complex, technical projects in a matrixes-environment.
-Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and Chinese possess.
-Strong project management skills; and problem-solving skills.
-Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
-Provides solutions to a diverse range of complex problems.
