About the Operations Accounting Team

  

The Senior Accountant will be within the Operations Accounting function. It is responsible for supporting our fast-growing business attending to the needs of our employees.

A day in the life:

  

Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, China

  

• Work closely with Vancouer team on Ecommerce channel account management

• Reconcile monthly store sales with landlord, and send the sales confirmation to landlord before due datere

• Prepares monthly accruals and assists in annual statutory audit, ensuring compliance with accounting standard and internal control

• Prepares monthly China GAAP financial statements, and ensure the statements are aligned with group reporting packages.

• Assist China Finance Manager to support new business needs and process improvements

          

Qualifications:

  

• A university degree with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience in a sizeable company

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Be proactive and comfortable working with both local and remote team members

• Be able to develop and maintain a network of contacts, both inside and outside the organization, with people who can supply information, assistance and support for worked related goals

• Knowledge of retail accounting is a plus
