CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the local FINANCE DIRECTOR and provide robust and reliable financial reporting data to be used as a basis for strategic decisions and improving operating performance

• Support local FINANCE DIRECTOR to prepare information requirements as needed, including KPIs and other metrics

• Report financial risks and provide insights on financial implications of change

• Assist in the preparation of various presentations or supporting materials

• Prioritize and streamline tasks to ensure accuracy of financial information that is being shared across the organization at different levels

• Coordination and direction of all audits, including internal, external, client and regulatory audits

• Ad hoc analysis, projects and other duties as assigned

• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial analysis (Budget, Forecast and Actuals)

• Work closely with the local finance and Resources team on month-end closing process

• Partner with the local FINANCE DIRECTOR in monthly and quarterly closing to understand and be able to explain all significant variances to budget/forecast

• Scrutinize forecast expenses to understand their substantiation, and ensure expenditure by nature is on track

• Include levers such as: pricing, revenue mix, project/client profitability, capacity planning, utilization, erosion etc. § Modeling to predict profitability, capacity and cash flows, as well as potential opportunities and risks

• Own the building and refining of the forecasting process and other in-depth analyses from start to finish

• Develop solid working understanding of the company's planning and reporting tools (HFM and Oracle)

• Extensive modeling to predict growth, conversion and profitability

• Assist in preparing business pipeline, rate cards, quotations, monitoring profitability of projects

• Ensure company financial reporting tools and procedures are being followed and adhered to

• Develop and mentor financial analysts

   

REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Degree qualified (Finance, Accounting)

• 5 to 7 years of experience within FP&A or Management Reporting, ideally within the digital/media space

• Experience in owning budgeting and forecasting projects and tracks of work through to completion

• Committed, detail-oriented, self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently

• Ability to meet deadlines and work in time-sensitive environments

• Flawless Executor - Emphasizes the importance of details, work that is easy to follow, and compliance with policies and procedures

• Good communication skills to clearly and accurately convey complex metrics and analysis

• Demonstrated ability to work with creative financial/operational models

• Perceptive discernment to identify problems, understand and be able to explain variances and evaluate consistency of financial information; Can go beyond the numbers to tell the story

• Proficiency in interpreting financial results and key ratios to analyses and project trends

• Strong Excel skills including experience with financial/operational model building

• BCC, Hyperion Financial Manager and/or Oracle experience preferred

• Thrive under pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced organization
