Phone and New Windows Phone. Following the announcement, Nokia quickly launched a large-scale business
transformation program to ramp up Beijing R&D capabilities, specifically the Beijing innovation R&D hub and is now
recruiting up to 600 new employees by December 2012.

POSITION CHARTER:
As (Sr.) RF Engineer you will develop high-performance, stable hardware that will be deployed in a global product.
You will have a system-wide, architectural view of the solutions that you build. You will have a focus on the customer
experience and through teamwork and motivation; achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Planning, scheduling, designing, implementation and verification of RF Design
· RF schematic/layout design and simulations. Lab RF measurement and troubleshooting.
· Drive development of RF key components including specifications, integration and qualification into platform. Solve
production issues at phone/component level.
· Transceiver system performance budget analysis calculation/simulation, measurements and verification.
· Component integration and qualification in NOKIA design.
· Handle key RF component milestones, changes, including planning, lab verification, documentation & review.
· Regular/review meeting host and hot-issue task force driver and support customer program
· Monitor component MFR in production, BFR, discussion with Program/supplier and drive the corrective action.
· Connecting with your interfaces within and without project stakeholders.
Qualifications
BS/Master/PhD degree in electronics engineering or relevant major.
· Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in mobile handset RF design (or associated RF transceiver/component
design).
· Very strong fundamental background in RF area, and broad cross functional competency areas which are applied to
the daily work.
· Has deep expertise on mobile phone RF area.
· Strong influence and persuasion skill to have others support the decision and help the whole team increase output
quality.
· Innovative thinking to seeds the opportunities and drive the innovation from RF side for NOKIA products. IPR
application experience is the plus.
· Demonstrated leadership, analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills in both English and
Chinese a plus.
· The ability to stay calm and poised under pressure and remain focused in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to
deal well with ambiguous and undefined problems.
· The ability to work effectively to deadlines.
· Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, enthusiasm, and diplomacy both individually and as part of a complex team
effort. Including Networking, negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to participate in global conference calls as needed.
