GENERAL MANAGER - FUTURES COMMODITY TRADING - SHANGHAI
Our client, a 1st tier American Hedge Fund is setting up its commodity trading team in Shanghai. They are looking for a General Manager to build out a strong platform there. They are seeking to hire a very experienced trader with proven experience in commodity trading and the ability to operate a business in China.
You will be responsible for running and expanding a commodity trading team within a globally successful company. This position calls for an experienced and ambitious trader with proven track record in futures commodity trading. Candidates applying for the roles are expected to have sound understanding of commodity market in China, established local trading expertise, market insight and network in China. The working environment will be very competitive but with a very unique compensation arrangement.
Skills / Attributes required for the role:
· Around 15 years working experience including 5+ years experience of the commodity trading space
· At least 2 years experience futures trading in China
· Be able to head up a commodity trading desk in Shanghai
· Native in Chinese and Fluent in English - No restriction on nationality
· Team work spirits, management capacity and great interpersonal & communication skills
