Key responsibilities

?Drive the implementation of sourcing strategy for product categories in APAC region.

?Reduce overall buying prices .

?Identify suppliers (regional and international) and establishing the relationship with them, negotiating terms and conditions and ordering and reordering processes.

?Commercial contract negotiations.

?Implementation of a sustainable sourcing strategy.

?Assist the team in negotiations and contract finalisation.

?Follow-up performance of each buyer.

?Observation of the activities of competitors; collect data to make up-to-date information available on the activities of competitors.

?Analysis of market information; follow new developments and trends in order to be up-to-date on the situation on his / her area’s market.

?In depth co-operation with his/her peers in the purchasing, corporate departments, admin & finance and countries/regions.

?In depth co-operation with the countries also in connection with suppliers, assortment, and supply chain.

Key Recruitments:

?Minimum 8 years’ experience in sourcing 

?Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills 

?Well organized, self-motivated and details oriented

?Be a good team player and an individual contributor

?Proficient in written and spoken English, Mandarin 

?Willing to travel
