You will lead several Engineering teams within motor & generator. Reporting to the LPG Manager, you will drive team performance to ensure that safety, integrity, financial and contractual requirements are met, and customer expectations are exceeded.

Your responsibilities

· Leading Engineering teams to ensure delivery of a portfolio of projects, with a focus on safety, on-time delivery, quality and margin improvement.

· Building and maintaining customer relationships, seeking feedback and providing innovative solutions to meet customer requirements and deliver improvements.

· Driving new business, working with the business development team to target new opportunities and capitalizing on attendance at conferences and client events by presenting new technology and innovations.

· Creating and implementing plans to ensure that business risks are identified and managed, with opportunities maximized.

· Collaborating with the Procurement & Logistics team to ensure that correct suppliers, services and equipment are available to support the Engineering function.

· Developing, implementing and improving relevant processes, policies and procedures to increase effectiveness across the Engineering function.

· Overseeing the completion of risk and opportunity assessments and leading the implementation of resulting actions across projects.

· Guiding, motivating, coaching and developing the skills, knowledge and competencies of the Engineering team.

· Creating financial plans and budget estimates and overseeing execution and adherence to plans to ensure achievement of agreed-upon targets.

Your background

· A bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical major or similar field.

· More than 10 years of experience in engineering related filed. working as a people manager at least 5 yrs.

· Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.

· A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.

· Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
