Front-End Integration Intern

THE ROLE:

· Support on Front-End chip implementation including design, implementation and execution of the flow that starts with RTL code and ends with the delivery of a netlist package ready for physical design.

· Support on ASIC design methodology and flow development, interfacing with EDA vendors on technology.

· Support on timing closure, lower power implementation and netlist quality check with RTL designer and PD team.

THE PERSON:

· Master student and will graduate on 2021, major in IC design or related.

· Better is 5 days working on site, 4 days minimum.

· Seek for excellent student who wants to learn leading-edge chip design methodology

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in AMD product project and to support on high quality netlist delivery.
• Get familiar with AMD FEINT(front-end integration) flow and design methodology.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiar with Verilog RTL design/implementation and has experience of large digital ASIC project.
• Familiar with front-end EDA tools and flows (Design compiler, PrimeTime, Conformal, VSI/VC-static, Formality, etc…)
• Familiar with unix/linux and scripts (tcl, perl, etc.)
• Familiar with Python scripts is a plus.
• Familiar with Synthesis flow.
• Familiar with lower power design methodology.
• Good English skills on talking, presentation and writing documents.
• Good communication and has sense of responsibility
