About the Organisation:

The company has evolved into a fully integrated attention first, social agency which delivers global campaigns for brands who want to reach the people who influence brand choice. The agency covers end-to-end social marketing services, from insights, segmentation, marketing strategy, campaign planning & execution to content production. It has strong relationships with Sports, lifestyle, top high street fashion and beauty brands, gaming brands to multinational corporates.

About the Role:

This Country Manager will be leading the business growth in China. The agency has already achieved success with Global Chinese brands and are ready to grow to the next phase. You will have the opportunity to develop your own team, taking accountability for achieving new business development targets and revenue plans. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing. You will be able to visit and work at the HQ in London and take executives from HQ to meet clients across China.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the model of KOL marketing and the company sales and campaign approach
• New business generation in Mainland China by following up on or generating own leads
• The delivery of a commercially driven performance marketing plan that covers key sales channels and content
• Regularly report to management on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts
• Maintain knowledge of the social media marketing industry

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record of selling advertising campaigns to large Chinese brands
• Have direct contact with key decision makers (CMO/Marketing Director) within direct organizations and agencies
• Experienced and successful in new business development and hitting sales targets
• A willingness to work long hours as needed, often under pressure
• Able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team
• Proficient English language skills, verbal and written
