The AP accountant is responsible for handling Accounts Payable processes in CHC and its branches; to ensure all payment requests and employee expense reports are audited, all AP transactions are recorded in accordance with group standards and process the payment accurate and timely.

1. Verify all payment requests ensure arithmetic correct, DoA compliance, valid of supporting invoices.

 

1. Keep all vouchers filed and provide supporting for IC charges.

    

2. Book AP entries in accounting system accurate and timely.

    

3. Provide the payment batch file to CM and ensure AP balance is cleared on a timely basis.

    

4. Check the deposit status to ensure all are valid and with original receipts.

    

5. Provide the corporate card expense aging report and take corresponding action to clear the outstanding items.

    

6. Conduct the “lack of invoice” payment confirmation on a monthly basis, and ensure balance is within 30 days.

 

1. Be an superuser of Concur, ensure all claims can be flow into SAP rightly.

    

2.  Response to staff for ad hoc queries.

    

3. Be responsible for a smooth AP closing.

 

1. Prepare assigned Balance Sheet reconciliations for review on a monthly basis;

 

Keep all vouchers filed properly.

Qualification:

 

1. Knowledge on accounting principle and system operation, to translate activities and facts into accounting entries properly.

    

2. Knowledge on group report and statutory report, to evaluate internal and external impact of numbers as reported.

    

3. Cooperation with various stakeholders (business teams, function teams, GBS, auditors, tax firm, etc.) to ensure good service level.

 

1. Respect timetables under pressure, self-disciplined.

 

1. Provide insight to the business activities independently, and challenge whereas necessary.
