Title: Quality Inspector

质量检验员

Location: Based in Weihai area

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position mainly assists Zebco’s corporate headquarters with its supplier base in Asia. The position reports through the Quality Manager for Asia who in turn reports to the Quality Manager for Zebco. However, they will also work closely with other representatives from Zebco’s Quality, Product Development, and Sourcing groups. Significant travel (40% to 70%) may be required to visit vendors through out Shangdong area in China.

这个职位主要是协助Zebco总部在亚洲的供应商，向亚洲质量经理汇报，再由其向Zebco的质量经理汇报。紧密的与Zebco的质量、产品开发、采购部门的代表合作。40%-70%的访问供应商的出差机会将被安排在中国山东区域。

The main duties will be to:

· Perform physical audits of products and processes.

· Generate inspection report and Maintain internal quality record.

· Visit suppliers to assess and ensure they are meeting the product requirements.

· Drive and keep tracking inspection process improvements with the supplier base.

· Drive correcting issues of current product with the supplier base.

· Assist / Train suppliers in developing quality practices, processes, and philosophy.

· Assist High End factory to perform physical audits of products

主要的工作职责：

1、 审核产品及生产过程。

2、 完成检验报告和内部质量报告。

3、 通过访问供应商，评估并保证其符合产品的要求。

4、 督促并持续跟踪当地的供应商，使其持续改进。

5、 督促供应商纠正当前的产品问题。

6、 在产品开发实践，过程管理以及理念方面协助/培训供应商。

7、 协助高端的工厂实现产品审核。

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND:

· 2-5 years experience with consumer products. (Experience in small mechanical assemblies, injection molding, and/or die-casting is a plus. Preferably a background in the toy, consumer product, or similar industry.)

· A mechanical, manufacturing, or quality background.

· A basic understanding of mechanical components and mechanisms and inspection criteria.

· A basic knowledge of process control techniques (for example Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, etc.) is a plus.

· Must have good interpersonal skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin. English, Korean and/or Cantonese are a strong plus.

· Potentially required to travel an estimated 40% to 70% of the time.

· Must be able to travel freely within China.

· A self starter that is able to work independently

工作经验/背景

1、2-5年消费品方面的工作经验。（小型机械装配、注塑和/或压铸尤佳，最好是一个背景在玩具、消费产品,或类似的行业。）

2、机械、制造或质量背景。

3、对机械构造和机构学或检验标准有一定的了解。

4、对过程控制技术有基本了解尤佳。（例如六西格玛，统计过程控制等）

5、良好的口头和书面表达能力，英语、韩语或广东话会者尤佳。

6、40%-70%的工作时间被要求出差。

7、可以在国内出差。

8、工作独立性强。

NOTES:

Training will be provided at Zebco’s Kunshan Oceanview factory in China. Regular visit per quarter to Oceanview factory may be required for HR and company update.
