Job Description
Invent, design, build, deliver, and operate solutions that drive standards and efficiency across the ecosystem. They build the infrastructure that allows other software engineers to quickly deploy, run and scale their software. They plan, design, develop, test, and modify software systems or applications for enhancements and new products that are specifically focused on cloud service development. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

Qualifications

Basic requirements:
- Computer science or equivalent background students with master degree.
- Excellent overall understanding of Intel architecture-based servers or storage systems with knowledge of one or more of the following: microprocessor architecture, Enterprise storage, Cloud Storage and/or Software Defined Storage.
- Good understanding of Linux/FreeBSD like system and Internals.
- Good understanding of C/C++ programming skills.
- Be comfortable interfacing with customers and the ability to work with customers and to assist them to resolve technical issues.
- Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English) and the ability to work as part of a multisite team.
- Ability to work and deliver under tight schedules

Added Advantage:
- Performance tuning and workload optimization, Linux profiling tools.
- Good understanding of distributed storage, like Ceph/Swift/HDFS
