What You'll Do

· Subject to the assignment complexity, you may be leading an Job assignment with other engineers as a team / assigned to follow a Technical lead.

· You will be performing the following duties, subject to different assignments, especially on Technology listed in later session:

o Supporting: Resolve complex customer problems across a broad range of technologies, including working closely with the 3rd parties – in a timely and speedy manner

o Consulting: Provide recommendation based on Cisco best practices, to ensure smooth operation. Recommendation covers operation, configuration, software version bug scrubbing, and product (hardware/software) lifecycle management. You would get support from extended team from backend if needed.

o Deployment: Lead / deliver Cisco project planning, design and implementation for green field, or migration from existing infrastructures. We deploy the most state-of-the-art technology in facilitate our customer good business outcomes.

· All your work needs to be carried out in IT industry profession manner, compliant with local laws and align with Cisco standards, including security and preventative measures.

· Your delivery will be in accordance with Cisco and customers’ agreed plans, change management processes, migration processes and work practices. A holistic view, and thorough understanding of Customer current and future network is basics.

· At all-time ensure compliance to Cisco operation process and standard: timecard, progress/status update, proper communications and work ethics – integrity, trust, respect, inclusion and diversity.

· Your work location could be Cisco or Cisco’s customer premises.

· You may be required to work in flexible schedule, occasional domestic and international travel as business required.

Who You’ll Work With

• Classic clientele: IT infrastructures operate in very high confidentiality and security standard. Classic clienteles: Casino, Hotel, Government, Multi-National Conglomerate, Financial Institute and Utilities.
• You will be working with teams of professionals within and outside Cisco:
• Customer teams – IT/Business, Operation, Project and Executives
• Subcontractor teams – Whom Cisco subcontracting on long term or short term assignments.
• Cisco teams – Sales team, Project Manager, Architect, other engineers from local and overseas.

Who You Are

· You have Bachler degree or equivalent plus 3-5 years relevant experience in both wireless networking and network security

· You are analytical and experienced in identifying and resolving the customer most complex issues.

· You have experience and consultancy skills in managing customer directly

· You have in-depth knowledge of planning, designing and implementing

· CCIE and other Networking professional qualifications

· Proactive in communications and driving Customer & Cisco success as the first priority. You can communicate efficiently verbally, in presentation, written and reporting through clear and concise documentation

· Self-motivated, and able to prioritize and manage tasks under high time pressure situation.

· You speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin

· Specific technology requirement for this role:

o Routing and Switching, and Data-centre networking

o Strong knowledge and expertise of below Cisco’s products and technologies is a must :

Nexus Series switches, Cisco ASR routers, ISR routers, Enterprise switches, Cisco ASA firewalls, Unified Communications solutions, LAN Switching, Layer 2 WAN technologies, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IP/MPLS, QOS, Multicast, Layer3 VPNs, IPSEC, GET VPN, 802.1x

o You have experience in designing/deploying/managing/supporting a complex network solutions, like Cisco’s Data Center technologies and successfully configure these devices to implement various forms and versions of the cloud, including, Nexus and Virtualization

o You have a good understanding of key technologies and protocols in data networks within the WAN, Data Center and related security technologies
