Core Job Responsibilities 核心工作职责 

Classroom Care & Child Supervision 

课堂维护和儿童监督 

• Maintain a meticulously clean and orderly prepared environment 

保持精心清洁和准备有序的环境 

• Perform prep-work to ensure classroom environment is ready for students on a daily basis 

做好准备工作，确保每天为学生准备舒适的课堂环境 

• Provide close supervision to children, always making sure they are safe and the group is in compliance with city-mandated teacher to child ratios 

始终保护儿童的安全，并确保小组人数符合市政府规定的教师与儿童比率 

• Interact with children in a warm, joyful, respectful manner that fosters their independence  

以温暖、快乐、尊重的方式与孩子互动，培养他们的独立性 

• Observe children and share your observations with Lead Guides 

观察儿童，并与主教分享您的观察结果 

• Redirect children as necessary to protect Guides’ presentation time and peers’ concentration, and to maintain a peaceful and productive learning environment  

根据需要重新引导儿童，以吸引注意力，确保主教的课堂展示。保持一个平和、高效的学习环境 

• Implement feedback provided by Lead Guides, your Head of School, and your regional Montessori Mentor

Support Creation of Strong School Community

• Ensure interactions with parents about routine issues or anecdotes from the child’s day are positive and upbeat

• Ensure any information about significant student issues or parent concerns are communicated to the Lead Guide, so that (s)he can communicate directly with parents

• Problem-solve challenging student issues with Lead Guides 

与主教配合，解决学生难题 

• Participate in regular staff meetings

• Participate in one-on-one meetings with supervisor

• Participate in community outreach, classroom celebrations, and parent education events

• Actively participate and pursue annual professional development

Qualifications 应聘资历 

• Experience working with children of the appropriate age group 

拥有与目标年龄儿童群体合作的经验 

• Passion for or desire to learn the Montessori method of education

• Ability to work well with other adults

• Level 4 or above of the Baby-sitter Certificate and Health Certificate are necessary

Our Mission
At Higher Ground Education, we're driven by a deep desire to bring about widespread change in education today. To meet the needs of today's students and to bring about true progress in the world around us, we need an education model that fosters independence and develops competent, capable, action-oriented thinkers and change agents. We believe that the key to international education reform lies in modernizing and mainstreaming the hugely impactful Montessori pedagogy. Since our founding in 2016, we have opened 20 beautiful schools across the U.S. serving students from birth through high school. We have also launched an innovative training organization to fuel our growth. We're on track to open 20 schools in the next 12 months (including our first international schools!), and plan to continue opening 20+ per year.
