Main Responsibility:

- Search and recommend suitable sites for the new Stores according to Country / City Expansion Strategy.

- Conduct negotiation with Landlords, Developers, and relevant Government Departments.

- Participate in the planning of the master layout plan for new stores.

- Participate in the preparation of investment proposal for management approval.

- Negotiation, preparation of contract leading to the signing of "Letter of Intent" for the acquisition of land / property.

- Upon formal IP Approval, prepare and complete the registration and establishment of a local Metro Real Estate Company (if necessary), to support all matters related to land / property acquisition and the setting up of a new Metro C&C Store.

- Support Regional Expansion Director to coordinate with internal Construction Department on all matters related to the construction of the new Metro C&C store.

- Participate in activities related to governmental and public relations to ensure that all work related to the purchase /lease of land / property and the construction of store progress in the smoothest possible manner.

- Ensure that all activities carry out by Metro are well within the protection of the PRC and local legislation requirements.



Qualification:

- Good Real Estate knowledge.

- Good experience in Real Estate evaluation and land purchasing procedure.

- Good commercial understanding and entrepreneurial spirit.

- Good presentation and communication skills

- Excellent negotiation skills.

- Able to keep good relationship internal and external.

- University degree, preferably in Economics, Business Management and /or related subjects.

- Good coordination skills.

- Good knowledge of Government Organization Structure

Fluency in Chinese, preferable also English.

- Minimum 3 years of working experience.

- Preferably with a Real Estate Company / Related Government Offices. (such as Foreign Trade or Foreign Affairs which deal with cross functional Government Departments & Foreign Investors)
