Task/Area of responsibility:

1.     Responsible for the effective management, delivery, maintenance of all cost down continuous improvement activities within the Supply Chain.

2.     Development of a culture, environment where first class customer delivery is recognized, actively attained, and developed by everyone.

3.     Manage maintenance and monitoring of the KPI’s of all Logistical functions to develop and improve upon these where applicable.

4.     Work with other managers to attain the realization of IATF16949

5.     Actively develop and promote the use Six Sigma methodologies

6.     Actively co-operate with the customer for the harmonization, deployment and delivery of the require delivery standards.

7.     Develop, initiate and maintain objective measurement tools for all logistical activities.

8.     Establish and maintain all logistical/supply chain documentation.

9.     Work actively to meet the customer expectations of the supply chain and improve the functionality of this where possible

10.  Guarantee of functional ability of all logistical functions on a continuous and evolving basis

11.  The development, installation and promotion of all appropriate continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma within the logistics department and elsewhere as appropriate

12.  Proactive and positive communication and engagement with all customers both internal (with facility and group) and external customers

13.  Attainment and monitoring of all activity plans/targets agreements

14.  Work continuously to reduce costs within the supply chain and report effectively on all cost improvement/deficiencies and any corrective actions to all required parties

1.     Authority to instruct Supply Chain /Production planning and Management with the plant.

2.     Highly team orientated and able to effective lead and develop multi-skilled staff and systems as required to attain all customer/quality targets and standards.

3.     Able to improve and recognize the input of Planning/Logistical staff and develop the Quality/Customer delivery systems accordingly.

4.     Strong analysis communication and reporting skills to disseminate information appropriately to the relevant parties.

5.     Able to develop and agree Supply Chain/Production requirements with customers and suppliers.

6.     Act as principal contact with regard to all Supply Chain/Logistical issues for all internal and external customers.

  Possessing high levels of self-determination to drive success both individually and organizationally
