Translatio is now looking for an English-speaking Service Desk Specialist to the IT Operations team. This is a position where you will provide first line support for internal and external customers. It therefore requires a true passion for service and support, and a positive mindset! Who are you?

We are looking for a result and a customer-oriented person who wants to work in a tight team. You should have a technical interest and an eager to always learn more. As a co-worker at Translatio you should also have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

About the role

Your primary responsibility will be handling of incidents, requests and inquiries that will come from customers via phone, e-mails and different portals. You will support users across offices, stores and warehouses operations world-wide. You will be specialized in the Asia-Pacific region where you will support stores and offices in mainland China and Hong Kong, South-Korea, Japan and Australia.

This role also includes hands-on and remote fixes & troubleshooting, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware and technical configuring systems and applications. As a Service Desk Specialist, you will amongst others perform onboarding and offboarding of users, create e-mail accounts and group memberships while configure new user workstations, laptops and mobile devices.

Requirements

· University diploma within IT or a related field

· Fluent in English, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

· Fluent in Mandarin both written and oral

· Expertise in troubleshooting PC/Mac hardware and communication devices, as well as solving general network and data communication issues

· Client-facing skills and the ability to establish contact with departments on all levels

· Minimum 2 years of experience from customer service or technical support in a related field

· Ability to travel, domestic in China and international.

Meriting with

· Knowledge in Japanese

· Experience with modern ITSM and ITIL processes and techniques

· International studies

· Knowledge and experience working in environment with Microsoft AD/Office 365/Windows Client and Server OS, Mac OS X, mobile device management and other related products and services for the business

The position will be based at Translatio Office in Shanghai and will report to the IT Service Delivery Manager based in Stockholm. Travelling will occur.
