Position Summary:

This position shall have full responsibility of assigned commodities on both strategic and tactical level.

Assigned commodities: PCA, PCB, Display, Motor etc.

Reports to: Global Sourcing Manager of International Procurement Office

 

Key Responsibilities:

主要职责

Commodity strategy & supply base management

·           Define & implement regional sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, align with company long-term goal and GVR / Fortive LCR sourcing strategy.

·           Develop, maintain & optimize regional supply base to achieve operational excellence

-- Drive Supply base consolidation, # of supplier reduction

-- Drive % spending with Global/Preferred supplier

Projects management

·           Play Project Leader role, work with suppliers, support departments and internal customers on:

-- Supplier transition projects

-- NPI projects

-- LCR projects

·           Using project management tools to ensure project on-time completion, reduce project cycle time and  control budget.

Suppliers QDC performance management

·           Quality

-- Develop new supplier per need, participate in supplier audit.

-- Support SQE on FPQP, process audit and quality problem solving.

·           Delivery

-- Support site buyer and IPO Logistics specialist on supplier OTD, ITO, VMI improvement.

-- Support freight cost reduction.

·           Cost

-- Prepare RFQ / Reverse Auction package.

-- Work under philosophy of Total Cost Ownership, identify & implement PPV funnel and drive YOY cost reduction.

-- Manage supplier contract - Master Purchasing Agreement, NDA, Tooling contract and VMI Agreement.

-- Support VAVE projects.

-- Improve supplier payment term.

Education/Work Experience:

教育(专业)/工作经验

 

·           BA/MS degree in a technical field listed herein (but not limited to) the following: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering plus+, etc.

·           7+ years sourcing experience in manufacturing industry, 3+ years commodity management required, global experience preferred.

·           Excellent project management skills.

·           Comfortable with functioning in a global matrix operating environment.

·           Strong Communication and negotiation skills.

·           Excellent communication skills with proficient English both in speaking and writing.

·           Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

·           Requires travel, including international.
