WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
You will support the Regional Exams Financial Planning and Analysis Lead in providing professional guidance and support in any aspect linked with planning and forecasting process of the Exams Business in China, as well as monitoring business performance against targets. The post holder will deliver direct and effective support to Regional SBU Leads by providing assurance on the integrity of our financial management reports and confirming the accuracy of our reports on business performance.
The role is in charge of analysing and interpreting long and short term financial and operational plans as well as reviewing performance, identifying deviations from the plan and providing solutions to rectify them, as well as escalating risks/opportunities impacting the delivery of our activity and the achievement of our targets. The analysis and interpretation of financial trends and financial impact assessment are also key aspects that this role covers.
WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT
The FP&A China Manager function plays a critical and active role in supporting the China Exams Business to drive sustainable growth, through more efficient operations and greater commercial focus. It provides commercial advice to support good decision-making and high-quality management information and analysis. The function also requires supporting and ensuring a consistent approach to financial planning/reporting process.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be successful, you should be a professional accountant with degree preferably in Accounting, Finance ore related fields. You will have minimum 2 years of experience in operational financial management or management accounting. Knowledge in SAP would be advantageous.
