Role Accountabilities
The Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for developing a robust and reliable Sales Plan and challenging assumptions on sales forecast; executing supply plan; consolidating demand signals across various business units; and acting as the escalation point for Greater China issues and resolutions.
· Drive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, challenge assumptions of future demands, and support cross functional teams to achieve the consensus forecast.
· Gap identification. Highlight gaps between forecast and business target during S&OP meetings. Work with sales and marketing to capture action plans and reflect it in the revised forecast.
· Work on supply planning once have consensus demand forecast:
a. Maintain master data in excel and SAP/APO
b. Conversion between Available for Sale(AFS) and Warehouse Replenishment Forecast (ETA)
c. Customer level allocation (gift pack and single pack for example)
· Place order to NZ/TPM plants, tracking shipping schedule and feedback any shipment delays which impacts sales plan.
· Support Customer Relationship Team to provide evidence, ie, shipping invoice, shipping schedule, quantity, documents, etc.
· Single point of contact (escalation point) for GC business. This involves a great level of collaboration skills and the ability to bring different parties together to reach an optimum solution for any issues or areas of improvement.
· Improve the reliability of inventory, service delivery levels, and customer service.
· Own the day to day forecast process to ensure that appropriate issues have been resolved and communicated with NZ supply team.
· Identify and report impending or potential out-of-stocks.
· Management of supply info to validate/revise demand plan.
· Liaise closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain Team. Especially a close relationship with NZ supply team is required.
· Contiguous improvement of tools, systems, and processes.
· Drive and maximise allocation against demand plan from NZ.
Qualification and Experience
Education:Bachelor degree
Experience:In-depth knowledge of FMGC business processes. 5 years+ related experience. Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Technical/Functional Expertise:Experience with integrated ERP systems – SAP APO knowledge would be highly regarded. Ability to interface with all levels of the organization and solid analytical skills. Goods commend for both written and oral English
Industry Experience: FMCG business experience.
