Description

1. Setup data warehouse for business requirement, for example feed data to ERP, provide massaged data for business team (Finance, BD, risk, marketing, operation etc.).

2. Generate reports for different business requirement, for example finance report, business analysis report, BD report, management report etc.

3. Data warehouse can load data efficiently and easily, data warehouse can store and process large volume data as business required response time.

4. Setup BI capability based on data warehouse and corresponding tools.

5. Setup different modules like staging and EDW, data Mart etc.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in high-performing distributed, scalable, resilient, and data intensive technologies;
• 5+ yeas experience data development in bank and finance domain;
• A strong experience in using best practices for software development, and willingness to ensure that the processes and documentation associated with these best practices are followed;
• Strong understanding of ETL tool like Informatica;
• Experience in using various types of databases, both SQL and non-SQL databases. Previous experience of PostgreSQL is a benefit. Experience on a Big Data project or DataMart project is useful;
• Experience using Software Security Static/Dynamic/Runtime utilities is beneficial, as these are an integral part of the development process;
• The ability to work as a self-motivating individual contributor. The software development team starts small, and the ability to get on with work without direct supervision is required;
• Developing under a Microsoft Windows environment is required. A knowledge of Linux is useful, but not essential. Proven experience with Web Servers, Application Servers is required;
• Experience in using java to provide application interface beside data warehouse is useful;
• Exposure to the financial services industry with emphasis on payments/settlement/clearings. The company business concentrates on payments, but this can be learned, but some exposure will be a benefit;
• Reasonable English (spoken and written). There are reporting lines into non-Chinese colleagues, outside of China as well as communicating and presenting in English-only meetings/workshops.
