ROLE DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE

 

Be part of a dynamic team of technical professionals and web designers who collaborate to develop, enhance, and support the Ford Credit M&S portfolio, including a customer-facing web application that enables customers to maintain their Ford Credit accounts online, e-mail and SMS messaging. The position involves business analysis, development and support with a focus on application development: architecture design, coding, and all forms of application testing (unit, peer, integration, regression). Key deliverables include delivering the portfolio globally, and providing innovative applications and services supporting Ford Credit’s Marketing & Sales organization.

 

KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES

 

Role

·         Develop and maintain high level knowledge of Marketing & Sales China business processes and external environment for digital consumer marketing.

·         Explains and contributes to the current state ("as is") and the future state ("to be") models with stakeholders.

·         Work closely with Service Strategy, Service Delivery and Service Management teams in NA and India to ensure seamless integration and “one team” approach between support and development teams

·         Contributes to and facilitates project chartering sessions.

·         Documents business value/metrics.

·         Applies security and controls principles when characterizing business processes, addressing business risks, and specifying requirements (especially related to confidentiality, integrity, and availability).

·         Communicates requirements and gains consensus with all stakeholders, and represents the business perspective on the development team. Translates business requirements into solution specifications

·         Reviews, critiques, and validates requirements specifications.

·         Supports the assessment of solution designs for business value, affordability, extensibility, and reuse.

·         Helps stakeholders define and execute acceptance criteria.

 

 

 

PREFERRED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES / COMPETENCIES TO PREPARE FOR

 

 

Education Qualification：

·         4 year degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field

Number of Years of Experience：

• 6+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT including experience in web application development and support

·         Technical experience with web services and commercial content management platforms preferred

·         Experience with PCF/Azure and Eclipse IDE

·         Experience developing Java EE applications/sites for mobile devices (smart phones/tablets)

 

Primary Skills

·         Strong Web services, Java development skills, including Java, HTML, XML, and server side Java-based development

·         Pivotal Cloud Foundry/SpringBoot development skills

·         Knowledge and experience with LINUX and W2K Operating Systems, RDBMS, object oriented design methodology

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·         Must have the ability to bring technical experience together with business knowledge

·         Familiarity with PVCS, AccuRev, or another code management product

Functional/Technical Skills

·         Java, JAVA EE development experience using RSA/RAD/Eclipse or similar tooling

·         Experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design

·         Knowledge of  core JAVA EE patterns, SOA design principles and design patterns

·         Experience with Data Modeling

·         Experience in application design, design patterns and performance tuning
