Your team

You will be part of the regional equity team at UBS Global Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office (GWM CIO), with a focus on content, regulatory and governance alignment. The CIO APAC Equity team analyzes Asia Pacific financial markets and asset classes, and is responsible for identifying key investment trends, opportunities and risks for GWM clients in the equity space.

 

The individual will work both independently and in collaboration with CIO analysts in the Asia Pacific region to review and adapt CIO materials and content (in Chinese) for distribution to GWM clients in alignment with both local regulatory and internal governance requirements.

 

Your role

 

Are you gifted at assessing value and risk? Do you know how to stay calm under pressure? We’re looking for someone like that who can work independently and in collaboration with CIO analysts and control functions in China and the region to:

 

• review CIO Chinese-language research for local legal and regulatory compliance

• ensure research content and templates complies with internal policies and guidelines

• liaise with the Compliance department on legal and regulatory issues

• work with CIO analysts to resolve issues and topics

• take content responsibility of finalized reports for client distribution

• ensure distribution of reports to relevant stakeholders in China

• edit select CIO Chinese-language reports

Your experience and skills

• several years of experience in a comparable role or as an analyst

• the confidence and verbal skills to discuss complex compliance issues with research analysts and management to ensure clear understanding.

• a good handle on accounting, including reviewing and interpreting annual reports and financial statements

• proficient in Mandarin and English

• solid know-how of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• strong analytical and problem solving skills

• inquisitive, organized and able to work independently

• strong team player with affinity to work across locations and teams

• SAC analyst license or the ability to pass the relevant exams and be licensed shortly after onboarding
