Position Summary:

This position shall have full responsibility for managing sourcing team of China plants including Beijing and Shanghai to achieve sourcing targets and manage the suppliers on both strategic and tactical level.

Key Responsibilities:

Commodity strategy & supply base management

·           Lead sourcing team to define & implement regional sourcing strategy for all commodities and align with GVR / FTV CFT strategy

·           Manage supplier relationship and optimize supply base to achieve operational excellence

 

Suppliers QDC performance management

 

·           Initiate and manage continuous cost improvement projects (PPV, VAVE) to meet and exceed yearly budgets.

-- Creation of potential funnel projects with future potential savings and resources required to achieve

-- Implementation and management of current projects to achieve forecasted/budgeted expectations.

·           Manage supplier contract - Master Purchasing Agreement, NDA, Tooling contract and etc.

·           Improve supplier payment term.

·           Support supplier quality team for supplier qualification, quality claim and supplier quality improvement per needed.

·           Support buyer team for raw materials lead time reduction and inventory reduction

·           Manage sourcing team and supplier for early involvement of NPI project and develop sourcing plan for critical parts

·           Work with marketing and product team to develop category strategy for customer bidding requirement.

Education/Work Experience:

教育(专业)/工作经验

 

·           Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field.

·           8+ year’s sourcing experience and 2+ year’s people management experience.

·           Project Management, budgeting and strategic planning experience.

·           Strong leadership skills, cross-function department collaborations ability and able to work under pressure.

·           Strong negotiation skills and communication skills.

·           Excellent communication skills with proficient English both in speaking and writing.

·           Proficient in the use of MS/ office software.
