Main Responsibilities

• Evaluate vendors’ technical and production capability, identify shortcomings. Prioritize vendors’ needs on technical support. Provide training/support to POFs according to the priorities.

• Monitor and execute the improvement plan on quality performance.

• Coordinate with Product/Design for Technical development.

• Ensuring bulk material & trims’ quality are good for bulk production.

• Review and ensure understanding of tech packs, garment specs, garments measurement accurately, samples’ comments and packing requirements, with POFs.

• Conducting pre-production meeting before bulk production start, ensure any issue or potential issues are discussed and correct in bulk production.

• Ensuring the quality of the outward garments are manufactured in accordance with product specifications/measurements and standards by conducting Pre-production meeting, monitoring the production and in-line checks at the POFs.

• Ensuring record all details of preproduction meeting and in-line checks. Put the record in inspection file for QA to conduct inspections, report to superior, as well.

• Ensuring POFs understood ESPRIT’s requirement and executing correctly.

• To resolve any quality and technical issues in bulk production

• Report update production status to Products/Buying team.

• Responsible for quality complaints follow up and prepare corrective action plan for improvement.

• Factory evaluation

• Assist Superior to execute company strategies and initiatives

• Plus any other requirements as directed by management and superiors.

Required Qualifications

  

• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience including 3 years in supervisor level at least

• Diploma in textile or clothing studies

• Experience in an international buying office preferably

• Experience in QA job preferably

• Sound knowledge in paper pattern, size grading, garment construction, production & inspection

• Good command of written and spoken English

• IT skill – Outlook, Office

• Travel frequently & station long when needed
