职位描述

岗位职责:

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Conduct pre-sales and after-sales support related to NTA (Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis) and DLS (Dynamic Light Scattering) technologies within the China market, working with Territory Sales Managers, Inside Sales and Marketing team to develop Malvern Panalytical’s NanoSight NTA&DLS product awareness to achieve NTA & DLS sales targets of P&F sector on yearly basis. Be professional in product knowledge to provide advanced technical support and training to inside and outside customers.

- Line Manager: Biosciences Development Manager of P&F Sector in China

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Act as Field Application Scientist to support NTA&DLS product line focused on applications in Pharm&Food sector;
? Support Pre-sales activities for potentials sales opportunities by seminars, demos, user meeting, marketing conference, tender competition as well as necessary paper works;
? Work out marketing activity plans with Biosciences Development Manager to promote NTA and DLS product line on yearly basis.
? Collaborate with other product specialists and product managers to execute company’s cross-product line strategy.
? Be ownership for all demo instruments and demo cases of your responsible product line;
? Present as a speaker on behalf on Malvern-Panalytical company at professional conferences when needed;
? Maintain good customer relationship with current installations using professional knowledge by key account visits, retraining, project collaboration etc, insist on a customer-centric strategy;
? Be sensitive to marketing competition landscape and update competitioninformation to sales team.
? Prepare monthly sales report on leads/prospect follow-up, marketing activities, Gap Analysis and Win/Loss analysis.
? Contribute to any internal sales support trainings and external marketing content (e.g. Webinars, Testimonial, Application notes) related to your responsible product line;

ACCOUNTABILITY:
Ultimately be ownership for your product line in China market. Responsible for high quality pre-sales support to P&F sector. Must have an acute commercial sense and behave as customer-focus. Be professional with your responsible product line, able to guide customers and solve their problems with expert knowledge.

Be professional in communications with inside and outside customers;
Have commercial sense when communicate demo results with potential customers;
Be patient and professional with customers’ angry complains;
Internal Communication
? Be professional and commercial-based when give internal training to sales team/marketing team about competition landscape and provide market intelligence and customer requirements;
? Be open, friendly and in a timely manner when communicate with inside teams;
? Be actively when communicating with global teams on behalf of China team;

ENVIRONMENT AND HOURS:
Hours and conditions according to the Spectris China standard terms and conditions (Flexible working time);
Based in the Spectris Beijing office.
Frequent travel around China required;


任职资格:

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED OF THE JOB HOLDER:

Qualifications:
Ideally Master’s degree or higher in a pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, formulation or biosciences, a knowledge of particle size analysis (DLS & NTA) would be preferred;
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, spoken and written.
Good presentation skills, both Chinese and English;
Good communication skills, both with inside and outside customers;

Skills & Experience
? Previous pre-sales support experience is expected. Minimum of 3 years’ direct industrial and/or academic experience is required;
? Experiences in a technical/commercial role and/or sales support role is ideal.

Knowledge
? Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical or biosciences are required;
? Knowledge of DLS, NTA, SEC-MALS and other size analysis techniques is a plus;
? Knowledge of technical presentation at customers’ sites or conferences is required;
? Curiosity of learning new technologies and faster learner is required;
? The capability of influencing others is a plus;
