职位描述

Position Purpose(Overview of the position)
 
 
  • Help the company to explore different distribution business models and identify the best to fit for FORD to develop BEV business in China. (including the consideration if need to consolidate current dealer network into the future business model)
  • Resoponsible for establishing BEV distribution network to support achieving sales and profit target.
  • Responsible for the operational process & system development and retail assessment of Ford BEV channel network in China
 
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
 
  1. BEV distribution benchmarking study and info. Management i.e. timing and # of outlets, throughput, retail format and standard, commercial policy.
  2. Develop overall BEV distribution strategy for FORD China, including Ford Branded and Lincoln Branded Products, other potential future BEV brand.
  3. Complete new distribution strategy business case study and make sure it will be beneficial for FORD, as well as any other third party partners.
  4. Create BEV distribution execution plan and do the operation to establish BEV distribution system, to enable to achiever the overall BEV sales and profit target.
  5. Identifying representation issues within the network and developing improvement or replacement plan
  6. Monitoring and reporting new dealer prospecting, evaluation, selection and launch status
  7. Distribution franchising administration management (MOU, DSSA, Car License, etc.)
  8. Network opening certification and coordination (pre-open certification and grand opening event)
  9. Distribution network CI benchmarking and planning, standard development, materials and suppliers localization, suppliers selection, evaluation and mgmt.
  10. Network facility design coordination and management, construction project coordination, tracking and management.
  11. Develop overall customers’ purchasing experience, including showroom/service/touch points’ experience.
  12. Design retail experience process and system development and rolling out
  13. Leading role to make cross function alignment to develop retail experience process & transformation to provide better service for customers;
  14. Leading to develop order to delivery process tp standardize requirement, process and reduce unnecessary vehicle cost and improve delivery quality;
  15. Manager retail experience process chceking project, project bidding, agency steering and region communication;
  16. Participating in cross-departmental projects based on the level of knowledge (retailing, consulting, etc.) if and when required
  17. Outlets profile and central database management
  18. Suppliers selection and management
  19. Team development

Education Qualification
 
Bachelor degree or above,Major in general business management, marketing, automotive engineering will be preferred.

Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)
--Experience in a distribution management role focused on automobile, or retail related field
--Solid understanding of channel strategy; experience working in intermediary channels required, experience working in direct to consumer channels preferred
--Strong analytical background with strategic thinking capabilities, influencing skills, attention to detail and ability to effectuate change

 
Preferred previous experiencesExperience with  BEV retail precess and experience or set up
Experience with  Apple, Tesla, NIO, BYTON, FF, WM, Xpeng, MB, BMW,etc.
 
 
Functional SkillsUnderstanding of automobile distribution KPIs, key figures, as well as new retail motivation and key KPIs to success.
 
Behavioral SkillsAbility to work in a matrix environment and leading by influence across various levels of stakeholders within a multicultural environment collaborating across multiple geographies and business groups
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in writing
