Responsibilities

1.Support LDPA (Local Data Privacy Advisor) for landing and execution of BCR project,

a.Providing data privacy related advice and support to the LDPA for all activities of FK China legal entities;

b.Perform privacy risk and control assessments relevant to the entity;

c.Review of data processing concepts and agreements relevant to the business entity and the respective legal basis;

d.Drafting of local templates, managing consent related processes;

e.Support responses to data subject inquiries and data protection audits;

f.Support maintenance of RoPA (record of processing activities) and documentation of relevant data protection measures;

g.support local data protection training and awareness curriculum;

2.Support IPR-related matters, such as applying for patents and trademarks and maintenance of relevant certificates;

3.Draft, review and negotiate bilingual contracts, and update contract templates timely; review other legal documents, guidelines, company policies and SOPs etc.;

4.Conduct legal research and provide daily legal advice to internal clients

5.Provide legal support on BD projects and corporate/business restructuring projects etc.;

6.Handle litigation, arbitration and government investigation to protect company’s legal rights and interests; Provide training to internal employees to ensure compliance with laws and company policies and procedures;

7.Serve as a liaison with outside counsel and manage vendors as requested;

8.Other tasks or projects assigned by Line manager.

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above with major in law from top law schools;

2. 2+ years working experience in Law firm or multinational company’s legal function is a plus; working experience in pharmaceutical industry will be a plus;

3. Admitted in PRC Bar, Good understanding of PRC law and General corporate work;

4. Proficiency in both spoken and written English，Good legal writing;

5. High integrity, Self-motivated, clear thinker, good communicator and team player.

6. Special Notes: This position is currently a contractor whose labor contract will be signed with a third-party human resource service provider. However, it is supposed to be a permanent position and a full headcount is likely to be assigned in the future.
