Roles & Responsibilities

We offer different Mobility Platforms & Products directions for students to choose based on the students’personal interests and strengths, including:

·    Connected Vehicle

·    Consumer App

·    Smart Mobility下·

·    Electric Vehicle

·    Autonomous Driving

·    Artificial Intelligence

We provide two development directions: Strategy focus & Product deep dive focus.

In strategy development direction, 1 role offered and the responsibilities is:

Strategy Analyst:

·    Proactively understand the market trend of mobility and competitors' engagement plan.

·    Conduct mobility market and tech trend research to form Mobility Platforms & Products point of view.

·    Co-work with different product teams to drive in China for China strategy.

·    Communicate with global team to understand global strategy and align with local teams.

·    Support Mobility Platforms & Products Scoping and Demand Management processes. 

In product team deep dive development direction, 3 roles offered for choice and the responsibilities are:

              Product Manager:

·    Works closely with Product Owners to establish/contribute to product strategy whilst ensuring development teams understand this strategy.

·    Employs/Champions Agile software processes, culture, best practices and techniques.

·    Understands business and user priorities, and technical feasibility in order to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks.

·    Financial management for the product delivery.

Product Designer:

·    Utilizes User Centred Design Methodology and Design Thinking to work with stakeholders to provide designs that meet business needs.

·    Plans and conducts customer/end-user research (contextual inquiry, ethnographic interview, focus groups) to inform strategy, guide solution definition, and determine customer/end-user needs based on direct observation of people.

·    Contributes to overall experience strategy and vision.

·    Works hands-on with the team members and stakeholders to resolve questions, clarify UX designs, and deliver products.

Software Engineer:

·    Develops software with a paired partner to deliver user stories that contribute to a valuable working software product.

·    Develops automated unit tests with working software, to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements.

·    Active participant in all team agile ceremonies including Backlog Refinement/Iteration Planning, Stand-up, Iteration Closure, Iteration Retrospective.

·    Reviews ongoing production software operations and troubleshoots production issues.

Qualifications & Skills Required

·    Bachelor degree or above

·    Fluent in both oral and written English.

·    Working knowledge of Computer Science or Software Engineering

·    Web/App development and programming skills preferred in at least one of the following web or mobile technologies:

·    Android

·    Swift/Objective-C

·    Spring and/or Rails frameworks

·    Java / CSS / JS / H5 / Anjular JS / React JS

·    Strong communication skill and demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level.

·    Internship experience in Auto Industry preferred.
