Objective:

The Change Management PM is primarily responsible for the overall quality of the Change Management process. He/she is the main coordinator within this process and is the focal point regarding changes for both the customer and the IT organization. Therefore, all managers in the IT organization must support the individual in this role.

 

Scope of Work:

–     Accept, prioritize, categorize and review change requests

–     Reject outright any change request that is completely out of scope or out of policy for Change Management

–     Ensure that all preparations have been made for a Change Management meeting, including creating of agenda,

–     circulation of change requests to be considered, and inviting of participants

–     Utilize the Change Management tools and methodologies to monitor and track changes

–     Create consolidated change schedule and resolves any scheduling conflicts

–     Identify change requests that have not been acted upon in a timely manner and takes appropriate action

–     Ensure that changes are communicated in a timely and adequate manner

–     Create and distribute Change Management reports

–     Review all implemented changes to ensure that they have been carried out

–     Close change requests

 

Requirements / Qualifications:

–     A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process

–     Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

–     Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

–      Understanding of Agile and ITIL would be an advantage
