As a R&D Engineer-Automated Test Developer, ABB Drives is a pioneering technology leader, providing products and solutions to help our customers maximize productivity, safety and energy efficiency, with a focus on reducing impact on the environment.

You will contribute significantly to successful results in projects in Drive Products Product Group/ Drives Business Line/ Motion Business in Beijing/China country/NAS region. You will utilize your knowledge and skills in technology and/or product development to identify and implement innovative solutions.

- Working as part of the Low Voltage Drives and Automation R&D department, motion products team.
- Building Automated Test system and developing Automated Test Frame for Motion product.
- Make development plan and move development as schedule.
- Support product development team to define test scope and to make test plan.
- Support internal and external customers in technical challenges.
- Support competence buildup in the team and whole organization.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automation is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience of working in a scrum/agile environment / development team.
- Experience in industrial applications, motion drives or controllers is preferred.
- C++ experience is an added advantage.
- Expertise with scripting language such as Python.
- International experience work or study.
- Strong software development background, familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle.
- Strong experience of software development with C#, HTML, XML, etc .
- Good understanding of SW testing and test automation.
- Experience of architecture design of PC software.
- PLC programming and system integration.
- Have knowledge about Drive, Motor, Encoder, etc.
