We are looking for a highly skilled IT engineer who enjoys the solving of ICT incidents. You see problems as a challenge and you know how to solve them effectively. In doing so, you always try to keep an overview and you know how to set the right priorities. In this position your focus will be to operate an ITIL driven service desk and make sure all requests are resolved to the user’s satisfaction.

Place in the organization

You are the IT professional for an office with the potential to house 100+ employees. Operational your report to the IT manager in The Netherlands and collaborate with a worldwide IT team.

Responsibilities

What do you have to do in this function?

• First responder workplace support which make your responsible for all workstations
• Asset tracking and life cycle management for hard- and software (including stock)
• Third party and supplier management
• Participate in global IT projects
• Keep IT documentation up-to-date

Job Requirements

What do you need for this function?

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences
• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• MCSA Windows 10

• Good communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Linux systems

Function Fulfillment

You make sure all issue and requests are logged and tracked in the ITIL based service desk tool. Resolve all issues fast and to the users satisfaction, where needed you escalate issues to other specialists in the team. Regular you will join the worldwide team meeting to discuss open issues and keep all team members informed about open projects and issues. In addition you keep track of all electronic devices and make sure everything is working.
