Senior Manager, Business Development - Media Research
Job Summary:
This is a strategic sales role and will key to driving success in the market. The sales manager will be a senior sales professional with a very strong understanding of China media industry, including traditional and digital media.
Job Responsibilities:
Building a territory plan to meet sales targets.
Exceeding quarterly / annual sales targets by cultivating existing client relationships and targeting prospective strategic accounts across all related industries.
Manage the entire sales process engaging the appropriate resources such as Product Development, Data Vendor, Client Services, Executives and Partners.
Ensuring delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
Creating and maintaining a sales pipeline in Salesforce.com to ensure over-achievement.
Achieve revenue, profitability, quality, speed of delivery and productivity targets as assigned

Role Requirements:
BA / BS Required
6-10 years media or research-related industry experience desired
Relevant sales experience in traditional media advertising
Fluency in both English and Chinese
Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills
Strong understanding of solution/consultative selling.
Self-starter who can develop sales leads as well as build through Nielsen partners
A passion for sales and a passion for delighting clients
